History of operation: David Holden is a third generation cattleman operating the Westwind herd established in Northern Montana in 1963.

Management accomplishments: Produced and owned several widely used AI sires such as Westwind Rito DJH 8503 019, Lark Canyon, Tehama 944 Lite R525, as well as bred Champion Calving Ease Bull 2009 Red Bluff Sale, Champion Calving Ease Bull and overall high selling bull 2010 Cal Poly Bull Test, Champion Calving Ease Bull and high selling Angus bull in 2013 Bulls for the 21st Century Bull Test
